Children’s Ministries

Children are precious at Redeemer. Taking to heart Jesus’ own love for children, Redeemer seeks to provide a comprehensive, caring ministry to children and their parents. Through a broad range of activities, children experience acceptance, engage in learning, enjoy themselves, and express their faith.

It is our goal to provide each child a loving, caring, and fun filled atmosphere where they can enjoy age- appropriate learning about God’s love and His plan for their life. We use the Bible and published Christian Sunday School material to teach our children about God, His word and His plan in our lives. This is reinforced with application through involvement with missionary work, OCC Shoebox Ministry, Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, special youth work, and outreach to needy families. We learn of God in a loving, caring and fun-filled atmosphere. Our teachers are volunteers who teach because of their love of God and devotion to our children to bring them through instruction and teaching to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Our Children’s/Youth ministry at Redeemer is divided up into five specific age groups:

Newborns – Toddlers
Kindergarten, 2s – 5s
Primary, 1st – 3rd grade
Juniors, 4th – 5th grade
Youth, 6th – 12th grade

Children’s Sunday School

Children’s Sunday School at Redeemer is a teaching time for 12 months – 5 year olds. During this time we teach through crafts, Bible stories, and group interaction. Sunday School is a great way to plant the seed of Jesus in your child’s life.
