Some have asked how to become a member of Redeemer Evangelical Church. Our church is an independent, evangelical Christian church. We adhere to the Confession of Faith of 1883 which required that every person who becomes a member of the local church be saved, baptized and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and exhibit a Christian lifestyle. If you are currently a member of another church, you can simply join our church on the basis of your past commitment. If you have never been a member of a church, we would like to talk to you about what it means to become a Christian and to live a Christian life. You can meet the pastor in the altar after any public service to present yourself for membership. However, it is not necessary to stand in front of the congregation to become a member of our church. We need to remind ourselves to pray for people all over the world who are hungry and are without the basic necessities. Many children and adults need our prayers and help.
